The BSN Elastomull 2 x 4 1/10 Elastic Gauze Bandage is a natural forming gauze bandage that conforms to the areas on the body that are in constant movement. Elbows and knees are tricky areas to have a gauze placed on as they tend to release the adhesive from the skin because they are twisted and shifted constantly.

With its stretchability, many joint areas that bend frequently, such as the elbows and knees, can use the Elastomull gauze bandage to help keep gauze in place and stop it from moving around or off the wound. The bandage stretches, compressing the band to a comfortable tension that varies depending on how tight it is wrapped. The compression ability helps to reduce bleeding by aiding in the production of a clot -- preventing bleeding without having to apply constant pressure to the wound.
